The Festival Temps de Flors has started in Girona the last Saturday until May 20 and monuments, churches, streets and gardens of the city are decorated with flowers and imagination.

In this edition number 57, the Festival is full of attractions and news. For example, the “A Capella Festival” and tours of the city on train.

Do not miss in the “Casa de Cultura” the photo exhibition of Steve McCurry which you will recognize a portrait very famous of an Afghan girl for National Geographic.

To celebrate the European Night of Museums, May 19 from 20h to midnight entry to museums is free.

And the flowers also arrive to restuarants which will offer a special menu with the floral theme as the protagonist.

This weekend finally arrives the Grand Prix – Formula One of Spain at Montmeló

The wait is over and finally this weekend arrives the 56th Grand Prix Formula One Santander  of Spain, fifth round of the F1 World Championship which will be held at the Circuit de Catalunya from 10 to 13 May at Montmelo.

Between the novelties for this edition of the F1 Grand Prix are the incorporation of Kimi Raikkonen in the Avenue of the Champions circuit, two play areas free for children 3 to 12 years, an Asturian party on Saturday afternoon, the new design of  FIA podium at the Circuit de Catalunya and the new train station in Montmelo, among others.

To Arrive to the Circuit de Catalunya in Montmelo is very easy and also on the occasion of Grand Prix of Spain, 12 and May 13 are scheduled circulation of 42 special trains from line R2 (Castelldefels – Granollers Centre) with frequency of approximately every 15 min.

The tickets for the Gran Premio de España Santander de Formula One can be purchased at the Circuit de Catalunya. The tickets are valid from Friday to Sunday and include the pit lane walkabout and autograph signing on Thursday, except for Grandstand C which is also available on a daily basis (i.e. for Friday, Saturday or Sunday).
